Do you make custom works?

Yes, you can request custom commissions via email or by sending a message through the site. Custom works will be given a price estimate based on the size and estimated time taken to complete the piece and the actual price will be given once the piece is finished. Payment is due when the piece is finished. For shipping costs, prices will be based on the shipping costs for regular items. Some of the pieces even end up being regulars on the store page so your idea has a chance to build up my store page! Thank you!

How do you come up with patterns?

Shannon is the pattern builder for the business. When he comes up with an idea, he already has an image of what he wants the piece to look like in his head. He also has a lot of knowledge about the different types of stitches and how they affect a piece. He uses this information to form the shape he wants and sometimes it takes two or three takes to get the right pattern. Once he has the shape he wants, he'll memorize the pattern and make the piece a few more times to make sure he's got it right. He used to not write down any patterns and just store everything in his head but recently he's been way more more organized with his patterns and planning.

How do you get through mass production days?

Mass production days are when 5-10 pieces are being made per day. A common mass production day is between 8-14 hours. When Shannon is creating a new piece or working on a commission, he'll sometimes stream it and the interaction with viewers often gives him the energy to power through a long work day. On mass production days however, he usually doesn't stream just because it's the same piece over and over again. Those days, he'll set up his desk with snacks, all the tools and yarn he'll need for the pieces, and he'll just let random artist videos, creative streams, or chill music play in the background. Without realizing, it's time for bed and he's already been working the whole day.
